The Youth Parliament of Pakistan (YPP) is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious program initiated by Mr.Abrar-ul-Haq to foster and translate talent and excellence of adolescents and youths of Pakistan into tangible action and community service

 

Aims & Objectives of the Youth Parliament:
  • To develop character and strengthen moral fiber in the youth. 
  • To inculcate democratic values in the youth of Pakistan. 
  • To train and nurture leadership, citizenship and ability for governance in youth.
  • To foster tolerance, moderation, ingenuity and self reliance.

Umeed Jawan Monthly Progress Reports

 

Success Report

YPP successfully completed the Umeed Jawan project in four distrcits of Southern Punjab including Bahawalpur, Lodhran, Multan and Muzaffargarh. At the end of the project a Youth Festival for Southern Punjab was held on 16 April 2015 at Multan. The main objective of the Youth Festival was to showcase the Embroidery and Stitching work done by the participants of these vocational trainings. Beneficiaries from 11 Youth Resource Centers (YRCs) of four target districts including Bahawalpur, Lodhran, Multan and Muzaffargarh actively participated in the event. Each YRC brought the Embroidery and Stitching work completed during the training courses. A competition was held for the best samples brought, stalls decorated and the winning districts were awarded with cash prizes. Altogether, more than 400 guests including the beneficiaries participated in the event.
