YPP completed the Umeed Jawan project in four districts of Southern Punjab including Bahawalpur, Lodhran, Multan, and Muzaffargarh. At the end of the project, a Youth Festival for Southern Punjab was held on 16 April 2015 at Multan. The main objective of the Youth Festival was to showcase the Embroidery and Stitching work done by the participants of these vocational trainings. Beneficiaries from 11 Youth Resource Centers (YRCs) of four target districts including Bahawalpur, Lodhran, Multan, and Muzaffargarh actively participated in the event. Each YRC brought the Embroidery and Stitching work completed during the training courses. A competition was held for the best samples brought, stalls decorated and the winning districts were awarded with cash prizes. Altogether, more than 400 guests including the beneficiaries participated in the event.
